Order Confirmation & Deposit
- To confirm your order with Lincolnshire Roof Windows, we require written acceptance by email or post, agreeing to the specified works at the quoted price and terms.
- No order will be processed until the agreed deposit has been received.
- Please note that quotations remain valid for 7 days from the date issued.
Additional Quotation Terms
- All quotes are inclusive and valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
- Quotations are based on a non-invasive visual survey and may change if hidden issues are uncovered during works.
- Any unforeseen issues or additional costs will be communicated clearly before proceeding with any extra work.
- In the case of repair works, while we will offer our professional opinion, we cannot guarantee the outcome. We recommend obtaining comparative quotes where applicable.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain any necessary permissions, consents, or licences (e.g. from landlords or planning authorities), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- By accepting the quotation, you agree to the payment terms outlined, unless otherwise stated in our communications.
- Scaffolding will only be removed after the final payment has been received.
- Payments not made within 24 hours of completion may be subject to a 10% surcharge.
- Ownership of all goods, materials, and products remains with Lincolnshire Roof Windows until full payment is received.
- You agree to ensure the site is ready and accessible for the scheduled works. If the site is not ready, a proportion of the quote may still be chargeable.
- Work durations are estimates and may be affected by factors such as weather. Labour costs will remain fixed, regardless of early or delayed completion.
- Some works are weather-dependent. We may need to reschedule at short notice, though we aim to complete within the same week where possible.
- While we take precautions, we cannot fully guarantee against water ingress if areas are exposed during the works.
- Cancellations must be made in writing with a minimum of one week’s notice. Cancellations within 7 days may incur a fee.
- While rare, vibrations from the works may result in minor cracks to internal plasterwork. These are cosmetic and not structurally concerning, and we cannot accept liability for them.
- If parking restrictions apply, parking permits must be provided. Otherwise, any associated parking costs will be added to the final invoice.
Decoration and Interior Finishes
- We cannot guarantee that your existing plasterwork will meet the new window frames perfectly, and additional internal finishing may be required.
- Every care is taken during installation, but we cannot guarantee the avoidance of marks or minor damage to interior decorative finishes.
- Following installation, internal plastering or decorating may be required.
- Our quotations do not include costs for internal decoration or plastering, and we do not currently provide these services. Any such work is to be arranged by the customer separately.
- If you would like assistance sourcing a contractor for this, please let us know.
